About Amaravati

Satavahanas Dynasty, one of the greatest rulers of Andhra region, reigned Amaravathi from 2nd C to 3rd century A.D.  After Satavahanas, the city came under the control of Chalukyas, Cholas, Kota Kings and then under Kakatiya reign.
